As we head south in my Ranger Bay boat out of Everglades City and Chokoloskee into Everglades National Park to go fishing, you'll quickly realize this place is special. You just can't help but be Everglades Fishing, Everglades City, FLtaken aback by the beauty, and the feeling that you are traveling through a place untouched by time. You are on a real fishing adventure to a place that few anglers will ever know.

Everglades fishing is vibrant and diverse, from the brackish shallow back country bays and rivers to the outside islands and oyster bars all frequented year-round by Tarpon, Snook and Redfish.

The FL Everglades climate is mild and pleasant from December through April, though rare cold fronts may create cooler conditions. Average temperatures in winter - High 77°F (25°C); Low 53°F (12°C). Summers are hot and humid, with temperatures around 90°F (32°C). The Atlantic Hurricane Season is June-November. Average Rainfall: 60 inches (152 cm) per year. The rainy season is typically June through October.
